Calali Game Breeders commenced operations in April 2012 and has since made huge inroads into becoming one of the industry’s top breeders. World-class infrastructure enables our dedicated and passionate team to handle and work passively with the animals on a daily basis, without subjecting the animals to stress. The focus is mainly on blue chip species and we have thus invested in top quality buffalo and sable antelope. The business has a well-established buffalo breeding herd with our very proud breeding bull Umfaan heading up the pack. Some of our young bull calves are the direct offspring of the renowned bull Brits, who is also the father of Horizon (recently sold for R26mil). Our sable breeding herd originates from a farm neighbouring the distinguished Thaba Tholo Game Farm, with ‘n beautiful breed of Zambian Intermediate and Matetsi bloodlines. The breeding bull, Nungu, has unbelievable potential and we are very excited to see the offspring he will produce in the near future. |
